We are happy to announce the release of version 0.10.1. A release that introduces big changes.
In this article I will walk you through the new features version 0.10.1 brings you.
We are now officially supporting MacOS. Currently, we only provide instructions to build MacOS from source on our github page.
This is still an early release of the MacOS support, if you find any issues, please reach out to us at contact@librumreader.com or use the contact form below!
We will be working on MacOS packages for Librum very soon, so that installing it does not require building Librum from source.
The long awaited ability to Self-Host Librum was finally introduced with version 0.10.1!
With these new changes you no longer have to rely on us storing your books and data, you can run the Librum-Server on your own servers and easily connect the Librum client to it. This way none of your data will ever pass through Librum's servers.
We have provided instructions on how to build, install and run the Librum-Server on your ubuntu machine on Librum-Server's github page.
We have received and fixed multiple bugs, including page blurriness on some screen resolutions, problems with Microsoft's Smart Scan, markers for the reading page and more.
Feedback is crucial for the development of Librum. If you run into any bugs or would like to see any new features, please reach out to us at: contact@librumreader.com or using the form below.
